{"id":79,"date":"2015-10-23T05:08:05","date_gmt":"2015-10-23T05:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/?p=79"},"modified":"2015-11-17T06:02:02","modified_gmt":"2015-11-17T06:02:02","slug":"fighting-back-on-tough-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/index.php\/2015\/10\/23\/fighting-back-on-tough-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Fighting Back on Tough Days!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/healthysnacks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-132\" src=\"https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/healthysnacks.jpg\" alt=\"healthysnacks\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/healthysnacks.jpg 600w, https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/healthysnacks-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/cluckeyo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/healthysnacks-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>At 7:00 this evening, I had only 50 calories left for my day. \u00a0That&#8217;s not good, because I usually have about 500 left at that time of day. \u00a0But I was busy at 7:00, so it really wasn&#8217;t a big deal. \u00a0The problem came around 10:00 pm, at which time I am accustomed to sitting down to a nice, late supper. \u00a0I knew it was going to happen, and sure enough, it did.<\/p>\n<p>There are several good things to eat in our house right now. \u00a0We have zucchini bread, Fritoes and bean dip, pimento cheese and Wheat Thins, Sunchips,&#8230; to name a few. \u00a0When I have the calories to spare, I Iike to include a couple of things off that list, but tonight I had nothing!! \u00a0And I was seriously considering that zucchini bread. \u00a0After all, i was probably going to blow it, anyway! \u00a0Then I thought about how I have stuck my neck out pretty far on this whole calorie counting thing, and that gave me a little desire to try harder. \u00a0I guess accountability is a good thing!<\/p>\n<p>Instead of blowing it, I decided to work on this Calorie Crusader email, which is kind of like journaling, it helps me a lot! \u00a0I usually write it on Friday mornings, but I thought now would be a good time to get busy doing something, since I am not extremely tired at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>First, I looked over my notes that I have accumulated throughout the week. \u00a0Then, I sat down at my computer with a bottle of cold water and 3 slices of Oscar Meyer boiled ham.
